Roadtrip 2022 Fall: Richland - Boise - Ely - Kanab - Sedona - Joshua Tree - Paso Robles - Calistoga - Brookings - Cannon Beach

Day 27 - Scorpion Trail

The Guardian of the Trailhead.

Red rocks brace power poles. They are versatile features.

The Renewed Topographics, Sedona Edition #9

Russ featured in his own renewed topographics landscape.

This Renewed Topographics crap is really, really boring.

The Team stamps across one of many arroyo crossings.

Ella continues to develop her works in abstact expressionism.

A natural example of an espaliered tree. Our long lived enormous backyard cherry packed it in this past summer. We have to plant another (those dang city rules and regs!) - so we're thinking espaliered apple - honeycrisp if we can get it!

This arroyo looks like it was engineered by Romans.

This is the first Lichen-Moss Alliance, formed under the watchful eye of the all-seeing Vortex. Their first joint-venture is an air-defence system to keep the prying eyes of the Black Helicopters away. Then, they plan to build the first working model of a Worker's Paradise. Then, they plan to enslave all of us in there.

A wavy green stripe on a red field with rampant bush.

Agave - but what else?

The Team leaps the giant crevasse.

The agaves are always watching.
